Not at the fault of the doctor, most primary care visits are rushed, and often limited to a 15-20 minute time slot.
At CYRA Wellness, your appointments are intentionally longer—30 or 50 minutes depending on your membership—so you never feel hurried or overlooked.
In traditional healthcare, follow-up visits can take months to schedule. Here, you receive timely follow-ups as soon and as often as you need them. Communication between visits is also simpler: you have direct access to one doctor, ensuring consistency and continuity in your care.
Menopause care is one of the most overlooked areas in medical training. True expertise is clinician-dependent and requires significant self-directed study. Dr. Goodwin has devoted extensive time to becoming an expert in menopause care through dedicated learning, certification by The Menopause Society, and advanced training through the Heather Hirsch Academy.

Menopause care and weight management requires fine-tuning-not one-time visits. Our monthly membership provides continuous access to a menopause-trained physician, regular follow up and support between visits.
For less than the cost of one speciality appointment, you receive ongoing hormone management, nutrition and weight training guidance and direct access to your doctor for your evolving needs.

I do not take insurance. You will be provided withhighly personalized care that isn’t compatible with insurance billing models, for this reason we do not bill insurance. However, we gladly accept FSA/HSA payments and can provide superbills upon request for you to submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend checking with your FSA/HSA provider to confirm eligibility.

If you are part of the membership, there is no additional costs for visits or communication with your doctor.

No, we are separate from pharmacy. You will be guided on what your best options are for medication treatments based on your insurance coverage and available cost-savings (manufacture coupons, self-pay, etc). Typically, the medications prescribed are covered by insurance. Compounded medications are not used as first-line, unless medically indicated.

Yes, a membership of one year allows for a treatment plan to be properly adjusted to fit your needs. HRT takes up to 12 weeks to see improvement. Those in perimenopause will need more frequent dose adjustments than those women that are postmenopausal. Weight loss medications also take months to improve weight, along with a proper exercise and nutrition protocol.

I only offer non-hormonal medications for patients with these cancers. I can provide you information for other providers who do additional management.

I do not offer pellets, nor do I recommend them. Pellets are not FDA-approved for HRT and give very high levels of hormones which can be detrimental to your health.
